ADULT FORMATION
“…We are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.” Isaiah 64:8b NRSV
ADULTS AT ASCENSION
Formation continues throughout all the seasons of our lives. Even after confirmation, we are being formed as disciples so we can go out as apostles. Adult formation allows us to gather multiple times each week to study Scripture, fellowship, and read books through the lens of our faith tradition. By growing together, we support one another through life’s seasons.
SUNDAY ADVENT ADULT FORMATION
Starts Sunday, December 1 | 9:15 a.m. | Office Conference Room
At Christmas, God came into our ordinary world in the form of a child, and still today, God is at work through the ordinary stuff of life if we train our eyes to see.
In this daily devotional for Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany, Jill J. Duffield draws readers' attention to ten ordinary objects in the biblical narratives of messianic prophesy and incarnation―objects we encounter in our lives. Through objects such as gates, trees, cloth, light, and water, readers will find new meaning in the biblical account of Jesus’ coming.
