FALL FORMATION FOR ALL AGES
Starts on Sunday, September 8th!

CHILDREN | 9:15 AM ON SUNDAYS

Godly Play | Early Childhood: Pre-K–2nd Grade or 4-8 yrs old | Room 105
Built around sacred stories and wondering, Godly Play encourages openness, discovery, community, and relationships. Rooted in Montessori educational philosophy, it offers our younger worshipers a hands-on approach to understanding the Bible and our faith. Some stories are told during one week, while others are told across several weeks.
Weaving God's Promises | Older Childhood: 3rd–5th Grade or 9-11 yrs old | Paula Tucker Memorial Chapel
Children will build upon their understanding of God and God’s relationship with people through meaningful lessons and hands on time with the Bible’s stories, people, and places. Using storytelling, prayer, and other play-based activities, this class is sure to engage your youngster and help them grow in their faith. This class encourages an active and lively environment where children can choose from a variety of activities to participate in.

Childcare available for children under 3.
YOUTH | 6 PM ON SUNDAYS
Abide | J2A (Journey to Adulthood) | Youth and Outreach Center | Room 202
J2A helps teens create and understand the importance of Christian community as they develop critical thinking and other skills they will need in adulthood. This section was the first piece developed and many young people find that the bulk of their formational work gets done in these two years. In many ways, the J2A years are the heart of the entire program. The end of J2A is marked with a spiritual pilgrimage that is often a life-changing experience for the group. Questions? ADULTS | 9:15 AM ON SUNDAYS
Adult Formation | Invitation to Genesis by Peter Enns | Office Conference Room
This study takes participants into the rich tapestry of Genesis exploring the interaction between God and very human people - pride, family relationships, conflict and journey all showcase the best known stories of Creation, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Rebekah and Joseph. We'll meet in the church conference room and all adults are welcome!

Men's Book Group | Practicing the Way by John Mark Comer | Youth and Outreach Center
All men are invited to our fall formation offering, which will use the book Practicing the Way: Be Like Jesus. Become Like Him. Do as He Did. The world around us constantly shapes us, and to be formed by Jesus, we must become his apprentice. To live by what the first Christian disciples called a Rule of Life—a set of practices and relational rhythms that slow us down and open up space in our daily lives for God to do what only God can do—transforms the deepest parts of us to become like him.
This introduction to spiritual formation is full of John Mark Comer’s trademark mix of theological substance and cultural insight as well as practical wisdom on developing your own Rule of Life. Questions? Contact Doug Taber.
