Since the first week of August, you’ve received a weekly “Reflection of Grace” email authored by an Ascension member. These pieces are part of our Grace in Action Stewardship campaign and have been a blessing to read and digest. Our Grace in Action Stewardship packets will soon be arriving at your homes. I encourage you to devote some time to learn about the many ways our Parish has impacted the greater community over the last year. The packet also includes information on stewardship and the critical role it plays in the life of the church. Please prayerfully consider your financial, time, and talent commitments to Ascension for 2023.
You can learn more about giving options on our website, but the following are a few helpful reminders. The weekly offering in worship remains a primary way to give to the church and reminds us that stewardship is a spiritual practice. Checks and direct bank transfers ensure we retain the entire amount of the gift. In credit card transactions a percentage of the donation goes to fees. A gift from a portfolio or stocks can be transferred to the church directly, eliminating capital gains tax!
