THANK YOU FROM OUR SANDBRANCH WATER TEAM

On Saturday, November 19th a group of Ascension members traveled to Sandbranch, Texas to deliver much-needed water to the community. Sandbranch is an unincorporated area 20 miles southeast of Dallas with no running water. About 150 descendants of ex-slaves live here - the need is so great! We delivered 150 cases of water to residents there to use for cooking, bathing, and drinking. We're so grateful for your donations.

On Saturday, November 5th, friends and members of Ascension provided 56 lasagnas to feed 380 clients at Austin Street. In addition, we served our usual fruit, bread, cookies, lemonade, and Tabasco. Together, we can do great things! Thank you again for your support.

THANK YOU FROM OUR FOOD PANTRY

As it is the season of Thanksgiving, the Food Pantry would like to extend a sincere thanks to all our volunteers who help purchase and pick up food for the Pantry; to those who regularly work on Food Pantry days; to those who help in our Harvest of Hope Community Garden, which helps provide food for the Pantry; and to those who donate money to support the Pantry. We are grateful to you all!
